There can be many theories about the world. Each Major Religion has their own story of how the world was created. But they all meet somewhere; Clan, Groups or how we call it now Family.
For me, Family is the oldest institution of all the Social Institutions. Think about it, between School, Church and Family which one you think got to humans first ? At some point while the world was evolving we started interacting with each other, then we started teaching each other things... either intellectual or religious. So from this angle we can see that Family had to be the first of the 3.
As a man, there is nothing more important than my family to me. If I manage to be strong, I'm doing it for family, if I manage to get rich, it's for my family. Life is about family, Ancestries, Descendances, Transmission. Our Parents who were raised by their parents raised us to keep the same lights lighting as Traditions and our role as Next Generations is to teach our kids these same morals and principles. Of course, each generation faces their own battles; as parents, our kids gotta be ready to face the demons that were made for their generations while being cautious for the demons we've witnessed. I know our generation has been raised to face old demons while fighting younger one, but we must avoid this to our kids so they can escape the Poverty Mindset.
Family is not just about DNA, a friend can be family, and a friend of a friend can also be family. At the end of the day we are nothing else but a big family living over the world. But unfortunately, between brothers, we fight, we have egos and worst thing last we don't forget; instead of making peace and progressing together we prefer to avoid each other and name Racism as the cause and Slavery, Manslaughter or any kind of stupidity as Consequences.
Like I said, there is nothing more important than family for me. There is the family you come from, there is the family you're building. I'm sure, each of us has a family member that is not related to the family but somehow connect with the family's bond.
Keeping such mindset about family helped me spreading more love than hate, I've had several attitudes throughout my life so far but none of them was against pure love. A Love that goes beyond the borders of our heart. A Love that connects ancient traditions to future discoveries. A love that avoids loneliness and courts togetherness.
Men, protect your family; the family you come from, the family you're building and the families that depend on you. Like King Solomon asked God, ask for Wisdom so you can guide them rightfully. Do that, and everything will be alright on the way.
